Christopher Danvers is a payments executive and digital transformation leader focused on helping community financial institutions achieve their strategic objectives. His experience covers more than 20 years in payments and digital strategy, operations, and product development; spanning community institutions, Banking as a Service enablers serving bank sponsors and fintechs, and Visa.
Christopher is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), a 2009 graduate of the Southeast CUNA Management School (SRCUS), holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, Marketing & Sales from Kaplan University, and an Associate of Science in Multimedia and Web Design from The New England Institute of Art. He also holds an Executive Certificate from MIT Sloan Business School in Strategy and Innovation.
Christopher has presented and spoken at payments and technology events as opening keynote, plenary speaker and as a panelist. His editorial content on payments and digital transformation has been printed in various publications, including Banking CIO Outlook and CIO Review.
His efforts to innovate within the payments industry have included the Federal Reserve's Secure Payments Task Force as a Steering Committee member representing medium-sized financial institutions, and other industry related product advisory efforts. He was privileged to have been a part of the Filene Research Institute’s i3 program 2015-2016, and also their 30 Under 30 program in 2008. In 2014 Christopher was one of 20 semi-finalists in the CO-OP Financial Services THINK Prize competition, and in 2019 led a team who was honored to receive Q2ebanking’s Innovation Award.
